Super Heroes United Against Bullying Drawing Competition

Bullying is a serious issue that affects so many children around the world and despite all of that, it still happens every single day. Many of us have been victims of bullying and know how damaging it can be.  We all have to find that superhero within us which can stand up and take care of us when threatened to overcome fear.

Many comic book superheroes were victims of bullying, felt isolated,   ridiculed and shunned as children, however, they learnt that they have the power within them to protect themselves and their loved ones. Before a twist of fate transformed him into Spider-Man, teenager Peter Parker was constantly bullied by his classmates. Steve Rogers’ persistence and ignoring people who constantly put him down changed him into Captain America Jessica Drew was picked on because of her hair before turning into Spider-Woman. Even Bruce Banner the ultra-powerful Hulk was once a badly treated child. You are all invited to draw and colour your favourite superhero stopping bullying which could win you the first prize: two children’s complimentary cinema tickets, plus one ticket for an accompanying parent, tickets for a bowling game for two and free parking.
