SWORD&FANTASYPOSTERThe Sword & Fantasy Short Film Festival on Fri 17th, Sat 18th & Sun 19th with screenings at 6.30 p.m. & 8.30 p.m. at Palazzo Costanzo is a wonderful collection of magical European tales. Each story is beautifully brought to life combining powerful performances and amazing fantasy creatures, and are as exciting and engaging today as the first day they were told. Preceding the short film screenings there will be short talks by Adam Peter Fretwell on:

Swords in the Film/TV Industry – How swords have been portrayed in film, TV versus actual swordplay.

How George RR Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ was influenced by England’s War of the Roses

The screenings and talks will be repeated over the three days i.e 17th, 18th & 19th April at 6.30 p.m. & 8.30 p.m.

VOTE for your favourite Short Film. We are turning to you, our audience, to pick the best short film screened in the festival nights. We will also be giving out free prizes! 

Medieval or fantasy costumes are encouraged but not a must. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.

Tickets are 10 euros which includes Wine & mouth watering feast of sandwiches, cookies, cakes & popcorn.
